EDITORIAL / 00120-QUESTION WEEKLY EDITION
OPENING NOTE / ENTERTAINMENT
The Bing Entertainment Quiz is a pop culture trivia challenge built around one simple idea: entertainment moves fast, and keeping up should be fun. Each week a new film tops the box office, a series becomes everyone's weekend binge, an album breaks a streaming record, and an awards show sparks a dozen talking points. This quiz turns all of that into questions you can answer in a few minutes.
Our version gives you 20 new questions every week, each with the correct answer so you can check yourself and learn something as you go. It works as a weekly news recap, a friendly competition with friends and family, or warm-up practice before you tackle Microsoft's own entertainment round on Bing.
01
THE PREMISE
FEATURE / GUIDEWhat Is the Bing Entertainment Quiz?
On Microsoft Bing, the entertainment quiz is a short weekly trivia round about recent movie, TV, music and celebrity news. It appears as an activity card for members of Microsoft Rewards, the free loyalty program where you earn points for searching and completing activities, then redeem those points for gift cards, sweepstakes entries or charity donations. The official round is brief, usually only a few questions, and it focuses on the past week's headlines.
That's where our weekly edition comes in. Instead of a quick three-question card, you get a full 20-question entertainment quiz covering a wider spread of pop culture: last week's premieres, chart toppers, award winners and trending stories, plus a few throwback questions for the classic film and TV fans. It's the longer feature to Bing's trailer.
If you enjoy this kind of challenge, you'll probably like our daily bing homepage quiz too, which tests your knowledge of places, nature and history inspired by the famous Bing homepage photos.
Quick note: this is an independent fan-made quiz. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft, and playing it does not earn Microsoft Rewards points. Points are only credited when you complete Microsoft's official quizzes while signed in to your Microsoft account.

PREPARATION NOTES
7 PRACTICAL TIPS7 Tips to Ace the Bing Entertainment Quiz
Entertainment trivia rewards people who pay a little attention all week rather than cramming on quiz day. These habits make a real difference:
01
Skim the headlines daily
Two minutes on an entertainment news feed such as MSN Entertainment covers most of what weekly quizzes ask about.
02
Watch the box office
The weekend's number one movie is one of the most common quiz topics. Note the title and the studio.
03
Track streaming premieres
Big season launches and finales on major platforms almost always earn a question.
04
Glance at the charts
Know which song and album are at the top this week, plus any record-breaking debuts.
05
Mark the awards calendar
During awards season, nominees and winners take over entertainment trivia for weeks.
06
Review the answers
Read the correct answer for every question you miss. Stories often return in follow-up weeks.
Tip seven: make it a weekly ritual. Players who return every week improve fastest because they start noticing patterns in what gets asked: franchise news, anniversaries, record-breakers and surprise announcements.
